VIDEO: MY FAVOURITE COUNTRY

Look at the video I have prepared.
I enjoyed a lot this activity because it is a good way to use your imagination. I would like to put this into practice in my classes. Students can choose a country or a city and they have to look for images. Then, the rest of the class can watch the video and guess which place it is.
Nice resource!

Evaluation

Students are assessed in groups. They have to answer the questions correctly and the big question in the end of the treasure hunt. At the same time, I will also assess their participation in the group and their eagerness to learn. How? I will evaluate their work in class because this activity can be done in the computers room. Students can send me their answers by email and the following day we can comment on the answers.

MY ALTER EGO

I really like the group Queen and all the songs they had. The lyrics of the songs were really interesting and every time I feel alone or there has been a problem I listen to all the songs. Moreover, the lyrics can be easily understood and you can prepare some exercises with these songs in class. Students really love these songs because they are not used to listening to it.

This song is cool when you are stressed after a hard day at school!

I want to break free)
(I want to break free)
I want to break free from your ...........
You're so self satisfied I don't need you
I've want to break free
God knows, God knows I want to ........... ..............

I've fallen in ..............
I've fallen in love for the ............. ...................
And this time I know it's for real
I've fallen in love, yeah
God knows, God knows I've fallen in love

It's strange but it's true
I can't get over the way you love me ......... you do
But I have to be ..............
When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free, baby
Oh how I want to break free,
Oh how I want to break free

But life still goes on
I can't get used to, living without, living ..................
Living without you by my side
I don't want to live ................., hey
God knows, got to make it on my own
So baby can't you see
God knows, gods know, gods know
I've want to break free

Me as a teacher

For me being a teacher is more than teaching English to my students. It is the fact of learning new things every day and facing the difficulties that may appear. It is a job in which you can experience new things every day: some days are better, some days are worse. Students learn something every day and this is what makes it a really interesting job.
